David Moyes 20-year Premier League record spells bad news for West Ham United on Boxing Day
West Ham return to the Premier League with a trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day and David Moyes’ record against the Gunners makes for worrying reading.
The Hammers sit just one point above the relegation zone and could spend New Year’s Eve in the drop zone if they fail to pick up points against the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta’s side top the Premier League after a superb start to the season, and will be flowing with confidence after glancing at Moyes’ record against top clubs.

In particular, Moyes struggles against Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. As reported by London World, the Scotsman has failed to beat any of the above teams at their home ground in his 20 years as manager.
Taking into account his time at Everton, Manchester United, Sunderland and West Ham, Moyes has faced the four clubs 70 times in his career – losing 49 of them and drawing the remaining 21.
It’s an abysmal record for the Hammers boss, who could be under immense pressure if he faces a fourth successive league defeat on Boxing Day.
West Ham players will hardly be filled with hope knowing Moyes’ terrible record against big sides. It’s astonishing he hasn’t even lucked his way to a win in any of his away trips.

Moyes needs to ensure he gets the gameplan right for Boxing Day but his record suggests he doesn’t know the formula to beating top teams away from home.
The Irons have only won one of seven away games this season – the 1-0 win over Aston Villa back in August.
If any West Ham fans are feeling optimistic about Boxing Day they might want to think again.
