Danny Ings to never play for Lopetegui again as West Ham sack news emerges
Danny Ings may never play for Julen Lopetegui again as he will likely be sacked if West Ham lose to Wolves on Monday.
The Hammers welcome Gary O’Neil’s side to the London Stadium with both sides in desperate need of a win to save their manager’s job.
The Spaniard was met with chants of “You’re getting sacked in the morning” after the 3-1 defeat against Leicester City, summing up the fans’ view on the head coach.
It appears that the ex-Real Madrid boss is going to keep his job until the clash against the West Midlands outfit but if the result is negative, it is likely to be his last in charge of the Irons.
If Lopetegui is dealt a final blow by his former side, there is a chance that Ings never plays for the manager again after coming off injured at the King Power.

The Englishman has had a tough time of things since moving to East London from Aston Villa in January 2023.
This has seen him register just five goals for the club despite making over 60 appearances across his three seasons in claret and blue.
Despite this, there had still been calls to see the 32-year-old start ahead of Michail Antonio who has also had a difficult start to the campaign.
The ex-Liverpool man was given the chance against Leicester but was withdrawn at the interval with an apparent injury which nearly forced him off during the first half.

If Ings goes on to miss the Wolves game due to this issue, the defeat against the Foxes could prove to have been his last under Lopetegui.
If the Spaniard suffers a home defeat against the Premier League bottom side, there will be no recovery and it would be likely that he faces the sack from David Sullivan and Co.
In other West Ham news, the key decision-makers are considering a Saudi Pro League manager to replace Julen Lopetegui.
