Youssef En-Nesyri to add ‘new dimension’ as West Ham United ready fresh approach

Youssef En-Nesyri can add a new dimension to West Ham United’s attack as the Hammers get ready to try again for the Sevilla striker, according to the Daily Mail.

The Evening Standard reported (11 July) that West Ham were interested in the 25-year-old, however, the Spanish side were reluctant to sell the Moroccan.

However, it appears the Irons’ interest hasn’t gone away with it now being suggested the Hammers are ready to go again for the striker, who can add a new dimension to their attack (The Daily Mail, 16 December).

Impressive

En-Nesyri has certainly been impressive in Qatar with the mobile striker scoring a sensational header to knock Portugal out of the tournament and end Cristiano Ronaldo’s dream of winning the World Cup. He would be a different option for the Irons. He has the ability to run in behind, whilst also being a physical presence.

At 25 he is in the prime of his career and would be a ready-made forward for David Moyes’ squad. The only issue would surround the price the Spanish club are after. He has only featured ten times in La Liga and has yet to register a goal or an assist.

However, his value is likely to have risen due to his performances in Qatar, and it’s crucial that the Irons don’t pay over the odds. He’s a player who has had a handful of impressive games in the 2022/23 season and that has to be at the forefront of any deal that is proposed.
