Wolves set to beat West Ham to signing of 21 y/o winger Chiquinho
West Ham United look likely to miss out on the signing of Estoril winger Chiquinho with Wolves hoping to complete a deal this week.
The 21-year-old has only made 35 appearances for the Portuguese Primera Liga side but could be set for a £3million move to Molineux, according to the Daily Mail.
West Ham were reportedly interested in Chiquinho as were Chelsea [A Bola] but they haven’t been able to act as quick as Wolves who have been in desperate need of squad depth this season.

Bowen is better
Not getting a winger as unknown as Chiquinho won’t cause David Moyes to lose any sleep considering the talent he has already.
You can’t imagine that the Portuguese youth international would have waltzed into the London Stadium and been a sure-fire starter from the off.
He is still very raw as a footballer and while you can see the talent in him, there are question marks over his ability right now and maybe it was best to stay away for now.

And anyway, the Hammers already have Jarrod Bowen and Nikola Vlasic as wingers who have looked the real deal at times this season.
Bowen in particular has been lighting up the Premier League and has even been tipped for an England call-up in March.
Chiquinho is nowhere near a Portugal cap having only played once for their Under-21s so the £3million is probably better spent elsewhere.
In other West Ham news, a summer move to the London Stadium could be on for this Bundesliga attacker.
