Wolves, Crystal Palace and Southampton want West Ham centre-back Issa Diop
Several clubs are on the move for West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop, with Wolves, Crystal Palace and Southampton interested, according to Foot Mercato.
Some of the Frenchman’s suitors have tried their luck with a loan move with an option to purchase, but they have not been successful so far.
Diop, 24, has just two years left on his deal and has continued to attract clubs, with Liverpool and Manchester United linked in past transfer windows.

Time to sell?
West Ham brought in the former France youth international from Toulouse for £22million in the summer of 2018 for a then club-record deal.
However, Diop has failed to impress of recent after two fine campaigns with us.
He played 65 Premier League games in his first two seasons but featured in just 18 games last season, with Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna firmly ahead of him in the pecking order.
Manager David Moyes also preferred Fabian Balbuena ahead of him at times, and Diop’s future at the London Stadium looks uncertain.
A new deal is not on the cards at the moment, and the best time to cash in on him is now.

He has a lot to prove next season if he wants to remain at West Ham, but we fear he could struggle to play regularly if Ogbonna and Dawson stay fit for the whole of the campaign.
With just three centre-back options available, we could do with one quality addition in the department this summer, and that could have a huge say on Diop’s decision.
He is likely to play regularly at Wolves, Palace or Southampton if he moves, and he needs to make the best decision for his career.
