Wilfried Zaha sends message as West Ham United finalise transfer

Wilfried Zaha has sent a message to Aaron Wan-Bissaka after the full-back finalised his move from Manchester United to West Ham United.

Wan-Bissaka ended weeks of speculation by putting pen to paper on a long-term deal at the London Stadium on Tuesday (13 August).

The Englishman posted a farewell message to Man United fans on his personal Instagram account [13 August], which many former and current team-mates commented on.

Zaha, who has been linked with a move to the Irons this summer [Sporx, 1 July], replied with two red love heart emojis, while Anthony Elanga replied with “go smash it fam”.

West Ham United transfer business not done yet

Getting this deal over the line for Wan-Bissaka – and for a reasonable fee all things considered – is a huge boost heading into the new season.

West Ham have had a very good couple of months in terms of transfer business and it does not look like Tim Steidten is finished yet.

With two-and-a-half weeks of the window still to go, numerous players continue to be linked with a move to East London.

Not to be too greedy, but supporters will hope that one more player is brought in before the window closes late on 30 August.

Before then, it is over to new boss Julen Lopetegui to get the absolute most out of every player currently at his disposal.

Wan-Bissaka was clearly very well liked at Manchester United, and that can only be a positive in terms of the dressing room vibe at West Ham.

In other West Ham news, the club have been slammed over a “disgraceful” behind-the-scenes decision.
