WHZ View: Lingard & Bowen start, Fredericks dropped – West Ham predicted XI v Fulham
West Ham travel to face Fulham on Saturday afternoon looking to continue their run of form in the Premier League.
The Hammers have won five of their last six Premier League games, including a 3-1 midweek victory at Villa Park, and could move onto 41 points this weekend.
Our hosts are at the wrong end of the table. Fulham haven’t won in the league since November, they need to pick up points quickly if they’re to stay up.
Scott Parker will be looking to win his first London Derby as a manager. He’s failed in six attempts thus far.
Ahead of tomorrow’s clash, West Ham Zone have predicted David Moyes to name the following XI:
In goal will be our number one, Lukasz Fabianski. The Pole has failed to keep a clean sheet in any of his last four league appearances. He’ll fancy his chances against the second worse scoring team in the top-flight.
Vladimir Coufal didn’t give Grealish a sniff against Villa. The Czech deserves to start at right-back, with Aaron Cresswell occupying the opposite flank. He’s got six assists in the league, more than any other defender.
Angelo Ogbonna and our January Player of the Month nominee, Craig Dawson, should partner one another at centre-back. The two have formed a great relationship in 2021, playing every league game together.
We expect Declan Rice to skipper the side once again. Top goal-scorer Tomas Soucek should appear alongside him. These two have played every minute of every Premier League game together in the 2020/21 season.
Jarrod Bowen will come back to the side, he was dropped to the bench for the midweek trip to Villa. Moyes opted for Ryan Fredericks, who offered more defensive cover on Grealish.
Jesse Lingard should start his second game for the Hammers after his goal scoring heroics in the week. The Englishman looked full of confidence against Villa and will be keen to add more goals to his tally.
Said Benrahma could complete the attacking trio, playing on the left-wing. Michail Antonio will lead the line, as he looks to break his duck of three games without a goal. The striker has assisted three in his last three games.
In other West Ham news, Mark Lawrenson has predicted the winner in our trip to Fulham.
