West Ham’s Premier League relegation chances predicted by supercomputer after Brentford defeat
West Ham fell to yet another Premier League defeat against Brentford on Monday night.
West Ham fans protested once again as a large number of seats were left empty throughout the clash at the London Stadium.
Nuno Espirito Santo then fell to a 2-0 defeat in his first home West Ham clash against Brentford in what was a dismal performance again.
Brentford may have confused Sam Matterface with their colours, but that sort of excuse is unlikely to settle well with the Hammers faithful.
The Opta supercomputer has now offered some grim reading over the Irons’ relegation chances after this latest defeat.

West Ham destined for Premier League relegation
Brentford wanted to win more than West Ham, as the home players often allowed the away side all the time in the world to do as they pleased.
Keith Andrews’ side were easily able to pick off the claret and blue outfit in what was a shocking showing infront of a boycotted crowd.
Mathias Jensen’s goal to make it 2-0 sums up everything wrong with the East London club right now, as everything was so easy from start to finish.
The Bees arguably deserved to be four or five up in E20, proving just how shocking Nuno’s side were on the night.
It is little surprise to learn that the Opta Supercomputer has now awarded the Irons a 48.87 per cent chance of facing relegation from the Premier League, as of 21 October.
The claret and blue outfit sit narrowly above Burnley and Wolves at 50.59 and 68.53 per cent respectively for their chances of facing the drop.
Leeds United are West Ham’s closest competitor outside of the bottom three, with a 44.66 per cent chance of a return to the Championship.
Nuno Espirito Santo has major work to do at West Ham
Things had looked better in Nuno’s first game as his side came back from behind to take a point off Everton in what was a spirited performance.
The showing against Brentford couldn’t have been more different, as there was a general lack of passion on show at the London Stadium.
That has to be blamed on the players, but it is fair to say that the Portuguese head coach has trouble on his hands to turn the tide.
Opta clearly sees the Hammers struggling this campaign before ultimately facing relegation, and it is Nuno’s job to stop that from becoming a reality.
