West Ham will never be sold to PAI Capital

West Ham insiders have told Claret & Hugh that David Gold and David Sullivan will never sell the club to PAI Capital.

The investment firm who have been chasing the Irons for a while now revealed on Thursday that they had ended their interest in buying the club [Evening Standard].

However, they insisted that their latest bid was discussed and that they could return if Sullivan and Gold change their mind.

Claret & Hugh, though, report the complete opposite, and it seems as if the current Irons owners will never sell the club to this investment firm.

Is this takeover dead for good?

Well, we hope so because we don’t believe that PAI are the right type of owners for a club like the Irons.

They tried to put both Gold and Sullivan under public pressure, but they didn’t budge and have even insisted that a second bid for the Hammers never turned up [Telegraph].

This has been followed up by claims that PAI Capital will never buy the club from Sullivan and Gold, and if that is true, we can safely say that this takeover saga is dead.

The current West Ham owners are clearly not impressed by PAI Capital, and we can’t see the group ever buying the Irons while Sullivan and Gold have this stance.

Therefore, it is probably wise for all Hammers fans to forget about this group and focus on matters on the field, which are going very well, and that is the important thing.

In other West Ham news, Marcelo Bielsa has praised one thing about the Irons ahead of the match on Saturday.
