West Ham will be ready to sell Issa Diop if another centre-back is signed
West Ham boss David Moyes will be ready to sanction the sale of Issa Diop if he brings in another centre-back this month, according to Claret and Hugh.
It remains unknown whether that would happen, but nothing can be ruled out in the last days of the January transfer window given the Hammers’ preference to leave it late before doing business.
Should the Irons manager sign the player he wants in the position, the club will be ready to entertain bids for the Frenchman, 25, as Moyes has already decided that he can leave once that happens.

Not surprising
Diop has had another chance to prove himself in recent weeks, but he simply failed to grab the chance.
With Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma on the sidelines, the defender and Craig Dawson were tasked with starting in the position, and he got to feature in 17 games across all competitions.
However, he did not particularly stand out in any of the eight Premier League games he played in, with West Ham conceding 13 goals in that time frame and winning four.

Diop was back on the bench at the weekend after Zouma returned to action, and is set to extended time on the sidelines as long as his compatriot and Dawson stay fit.
The Hammers want another defender in their ranks, and that will further put the fourth-choice further down the pecking order.
Should a new centre-back arrive, that means he will be fifth in Moyes’ thoughts, and that is as good as selling him.
