West Ham weighing up a third offer for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus – Sky Sports News

West Ham are deciding whether or not to make a third bid for Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports reporter provided an update via his personal Twitter account (22 August), which stated that the Hammers had seen a second bid knocked back, yet still remain interested.

Ajax do not want to sell the 23-year-old Ghana international, who has two years left on his contract with the Dutch club.

However, despite his current club’s stance, Kudus himself is open to the move, although it remains to be seen where this transfer saga heads next.

Push on

If officials at the club are unsure of whether or not Kudus is worth an improved offer, they should put those doubts to bed and go in with the bid required to bring him to the London Stadium, especially if the player himself is open to making the switch. The attacking midfielder showed last season that he is a talent with a huge ceiling.

Still just 23 years of age, Kudus scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions last season. In addition to this, he has already scored once and provided an assist in both his appearances for Ajax during the current campaign.

West Ham United

There is no doubt he is a star in the making with plenty of potential and if the club let negotiations break down when they are so close, they could live to regret it, especially if he ends up at a Premier League rival.

Get it done as soon as possible West Ham.
