West Ham want to sign PSG defender Abdou Diallo
West Ham are reportedly interested in signing centre-back Abdou Diallo from Champions League side Paris St. Germain this month.
According to L’Equipe, the Senegal international is currently out on international duty at the AFCON, so the club have not tested the waters with an official bid.
However, that could change as the window progress and a move for the 25-year-old has not been ruled out as things stand.

Good option
It’s hard to be the standout performer in a side that has Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, but Diallo has been impressive for the Ligue 1 giants.
His contributions have gone under the radar, both in the league as well as the Champions League.
A centre-back by trade, Diallo has been used as a left-back on numerous occasions by Mauricio Pochettino and he has excelled there.
West Ham are not only looking for a centre-back this month, but there have also been links with left-backs.

Signing Diallo could see them hit two targets with just one arrow and it could be seen as prudent business from the outside.
Not only is he seen as a reliable defender, but he’s also got the capability to provide “magnificent” assists.
If he’s available and in the Hammers’ price range, it’s a no brainer that they should go for him.
