West Ham want to sign Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien
West Ham are reportedly keen on signing Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien in the summer.
According to TEAMtalk, the Hammers are among a host of Premier League clubs that are eyeing a move for the 23-year-old.
Despite signing a new deal at Town recently, he holds all the cards to his future with a release clause of £12million.

That means, should West Ham pay that, the Englishman will be free to decide whether or not he fancies a move to the London Stadium.
Terrific
O’Brien is a player who has been extensively linked with a move to Leeds United and has been labelled as “outstanding“.
However, for whatever reason, they have failed to secure his signature in two different windows and the summer is going to be a lit more competitive.
The number of teams that have now entered the race for him are at an all-time high and it seems like he’s destined for a Premier League switch before next season begins.
Of all the clubs that are linked, West Ham seem best placed to secure his services.
The 23-year-old would want to take the step up in his career and play in Europe – something that the Hammers are on course to provide.

They also have arguably the best English midfielder in the side in Declan Rice and O’Brien could learn a lot from him despite being the same age.
It could also be ideal for David Moyes who would have the option of deploying a midfield three.
Alex Kral hasn’t set the world alight since joining and he will be on his way out unless something dramatic happens in the next few weeks.
