West Ham want to sign FC Nantes attacker Ludovic Blas
West Ham United are in the race to sign FC Nantes attacking midfielder Ludovic Blas this summer, according to Tutto Mercato Web.
The 24-year-old Frenchman is enjoying a sensational season in France with 12 goals and two assists to his name so far which has piqued the interest of David Moyes.
Newcastle United are also in the hunt to sign Blas with the Ligue 1 side expected to want £16.7million for him to leave the club.

Blas’ Nantes teammate Pedro Chirivella, formerly of Liverpool, has been bewitched by what he’s seen from the 24-year-old, claiming he is better than Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
“When it comes to pure talent, I rate Ludovic Blas above all others,” he told French magazine So Foot, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“I played with Coutinho, Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, I know what they are capable of.
He’s incredible, spectacular, and his future looks bright. We are often lined up together in the middle, we see football the same way, and it is a pleasure to grow alongside him.”
Priorities
This transfer window is going to be Moyes’ most crucial as Irons manager so far and he has to make sure he gets his priorities right.
And those priorities aren’t in attacking midfield where Manuel Lanzini, Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma are all natural in playing.

What he really needs to focus on is getting another striker to both challenge and allow rest for Michail Antonio because the Jamaican is slowly breaking down this campaign.
The Scot also needs a bit of cover at centre-half too with uncertainty surrounding a number of his current options in the position.
So while it might be nice to dream and think about the talents of Blas in attacking midfield, he is a target to go after once they have their immediate problems sorted first.
