West Ham up interest in Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall – report
West Ham have upped their interest in Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall, according to reports from The Sun.
The centre-back has been a stalwart in the Forest defence this season whilst showcasing his talent in impressive FA Cup victories against the Premier League’s Arsenal and Leicester.
The Irons will have to splash as much as £15million to bring the Englishman to the London Stadium.

However, David Moyes is expected to face “stiff competition” for the 25-year-old’s signature with Everton also monitoring the man mountain with Brentford potentially in the mix after a failed move last summer.
Make a move
Worrall has been instrumental in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League promotion push this season.
He has been a rock at the back of Steve Cooper’s defence which has caught the eye of several topflight sides looking for a bargain with his FA Cup performances against Premier League opposition testament to his quality.
He performed valiantly in victories against Leicester and Arsenal which proves he has what it takes at the highest level and West Ham should make a move.

The Hammers were desperate for a centre-back in January which must not be forgotten. The issue has been put to the back of David Moyes’ mind for now with Kurt Zouma filling that void but it still remains an area of concern.
Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna are both approaching the end of their careers and the club must begin their succession plan.
Worrall has the opportunity to learn from these veteran centre-back if he needs it but if the club were to secure his signature he could easily walk right into the starting 11.
In other West Ham news, Andriy Yarmolenko lifts the lid on an “emotional” time amid the Ukraine conflict.
