West Ham unlikely to take any further action after £250k Kurt Zouma fine
West Ham are not likely to take any further action after they hit defender Kurt Zouma with a £250k fine.
According to ExWHUemployee, that fee equates to roughly around two weeks salary for the Frenchman.
The club decided not to suspend him from the Watford game and as things stand, he is likely to play against Leicester as well.

Speaking on the West Ham Way podcast, Ex said, “He’s been fined two weeks’ wages which is equivalent to £250k. I don’t think it’s exactly £125k but has been rounded up to it.
“The club have decided that they will not take any further action.
“Reports on other West Ham sites that he’s definitely out for Leicester are premature. It could be the case if they decide that after the investigation, but as of now he is likely to play.”
Suspension needed
While some time has passed from the incident, it cannot just go away with a small fine.
Zouma does need to miss a few games so that it sends a message loud and clear to anyone who thinks of doing such things.

It remains to be seen what the investigation says but we’re sure that they will offer the right advice to the Hammers.
Whether or not they pay it any heed, remains to be seen, but they cannot let this one slide.
We’re sure that the player understands his mistake, but he will have to pay for what he’s done and not playing football for a while could be the perfect way to do that.
