West Ham United yet to agree personal terms with Gianluca Scamacca
West Ham United are close to signing Italy striker Gianluca Scamacca, but it seems there’s still some way left to go before they can confirm the signing.
According to West Ham Football Twitter account, run by Claret & Hugh Associate Editor, the 23-year-old has not flown to London, while the Hammers are yet to agree personal terms with the striker.
As of now, “no medical will be scheduled”, but Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed that the deal is all but done.
Big money signing
West Ham have already made three signings already, but more additions are likely to follow. One of them is the Sassuolo striker, Scamacca.
The talented striker scored 12 goals in the Serie A last season, and he is seen as one of the most talented young strikers in Italy.
As it stands, the Hammers apparently have agreed a package deal of £35.6m, while there’s a further 10 per cent sell-on clause.

The Hammers failed to land a striker in their last three transfer windows, and it became a priority for the Hammers to sign a quality forward.
Chelsea striker Armando Broja was one of their prime targets, but it seems the Blues won’t sell their prized asset.
Likewise, Jesse Lingard was another player being heavily linked, but the Hammers couldn’t agree to a deal.
Scamacca is a fantastic young player whose best years are ahead of him. He is a brilliant finisher and would be a massive addition for the club.
