West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson offered to Italian clubs

West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson has been offered to a number of Italian clubs, according to trusted Hammers source ExWHUemployee.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Porto, but made just nine appearances across all competitions.

Anderson is clearly not in the plans of West Ham manager David Moyes, and when asked by a fan on Twitter whether the rumours linking him with Italy are true, ExWHUemployee replied:

End of Anderson’s West Ham career?

The Brazilian joined the Hammers from Lazio in July 2018 for a then club-record fee of £36million, in a deal that could rise to £41.5million [BBC].

While Anderson hit the ground running at the London Stadium, scoring nine goals and assisting four others in 36 Premier League games in his debut campaign, he had an underwhelming season in 2019-20.

The 28-year-old scored once and made four assists in 25 league games, and Moyes was happy to have him leave temporarily last summer.

West Ham

An impressive loan spell in Portugal could have earned him a permanent move or another chance with West Ham, and we are disappointed with how Anderson’s career has gone over the last two years.

The attacking midfielder has gone from becoming a Brazil international to having uncertainty surrounding his future.

Hopefully, the Irons can get a sizeable fee from a potential sale this summer.

Not many clubs would be keen to buy him for a third of what we paid Lazio, though, and only Anderson can explain how things suddenly went south for a Premier League career that looked quite promising some months ago.
