West Ham United will not sell Tomas Soucek this summer
West Ham United will refuse any approach for midfield ace Tomas Soucek this summer as he remains integral to David Moyes’ squad.
According to the Evening Standard, the Irons want the Czech Republic international to be a key part of a squad that can compete across all competitions next season so they have no intention on him leaving.
He still has two years left on his current contract at the London Stadium, as does his midfield partner Declan Rice, so there is no rush to sell him.

The Evening Standard also reports that the rumours of a falling out between Soucek and Moyes recently are completely false as he looks to bolster the midfield after Mark Noble’s retirement.
Backbone
Thank goodness we are seeing our board be stubborn and refuse to allow the club’s best players to leave as soon as a traditional big club comes knocking.
We are now too good to be letting the likes of Soucek, Rice and even Jarrod Bowen leave the club on the cheap for the big sides and it’s a relief to see that the owners have realised that fact and are acting accordingly.

Ever since he arrived in the capital from his homeland, he has been a true force in the midfield and without him, we might not be anywhere near where we have been over the past 18 months.
All the credit often gets thrown onto Rice and understandably so as England’s best midfielder outright but he can’t perform the way he does without another top-quality player alongside him.
The reports of a falling out were always going to be nonsense and it’s great to see that his future, for now at least, is at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, Ryan Fredericks is leaving the club on a free transfer on 30 June and he may well find a new home in the Premier League.
