West Ham United will face stiff battle for Armando Broja in summer
West Ham are set for a battle to sign Chelsea ace Armando Broja with Nottingham Forest eyeing a move for the striker, according to Nottinghamshire Live.
The Albanian bagged ten goals in all competitions for Southampton in the 2021/22 campaign – an impressive return for such a young striker.
Should he leave the west Londoners in the summer, it will most likely be on a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer with four years still left on his Stamford Bridge contract which is perfect for the east London outfit.

Following promotion to the Premier League, Steve Cooper is looking to bolster his squad with Broja being one of several targets with Everton also in the mix for his services, as per the Daily Mail.
David Moyes will have something to say about that with the Irons monitoring him for quite some time and the Scot a big fan of the 20-year-old.
Why not.
If Broja is most likely to leave Chelsea on loan in the summer, why wouldn’t West Ham make a move for him?
The youngster clearly holds a lot of quality given how many clubs are interested in him after just one season of regular first-team football.

The Irons will have to fight tooth and nail to get this one over the line because Everton have Frank Lampard and his Stamford Bridge connections that could see him go to Merseyside for the 2022/23 campaign.
He could almost walk straight into the Forest team should he impress Cooper and establish himself as a mainstay in the side like he did at Southampton.
With that being said, the Hammers will be able to offer him more game time as they look to provide Michail Antonio with the rest he so desperately needed in the 2021/22 campaign and with no other strikers currently in the squad.
Broja would surely want to come to a team fighting on all fronts – including Europe – as he looks to take the next step in his career.
