West Ham United want to sign Manchester City starlet Carlos Borges
West Ham reportedly are exploring a deal to sign Manchester City sensation Carlos Borges in the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail [03 April], the Hammers are already planning for the summer and have identified the 19-year-old as a potential target.
The Portuguese teenager is yet to make his debut for the senior side but has been performing extremely well at the youth level.

Good option
Borges made headlines in the UEFA Youth League this season when he scored a brilliant hat-trick and provided an assist against Sevilla in Spain.
The Citizens went on to win that game 5-1 and the 19-year-old played a hand in four of those five goals, en route to a resounding away victory.
He also played a hand in two goals when they beat Copenhagen 3-1 and it’s hard not to take notice of someone doing that well at the youth level.

While City have a number of talented players they want to promote to the first team, not everyone makes it and each player has a price.
If West Ham are seriously keen on signing him, they need to make the initial steps towards securing his signature as his stock is only going to go up.
They’re already dealing with Declan Rice and David Moyes’ uncertain futures and it does make sense to plan for incomings as well.
