West Ham United transfer update: Ibrahim Osman wants London Stadium deal revived amid Crystal Palace and Brighton links
Ibrahim Osman remains “keen” on a move to West Ham and is hoping the deal to sign him is revived before the transfer deadline, according to Mail Plus.
Simon Jones reports in his Transfer Confidential column on 29 January that the teenager wants the Hammers to “revisit” the deal, after reportedly having a £16million bid rejected by FC Nordsjaelland.
Crystal Palace and Brighton have both made approaches to the Danish side to ask about Osman but he appears set on a London Stadium move over their Premier League rivals.
The Ghanian’s transfer collapsed on 28 January in bizarre fashion, with a rogue agent said to be at the centre of the deal breaking down amid “total chaos”, and now based on “illegal” terms if it now were to proceed.
Impossible?
Given the reason for the pursuit of Osman falling apart has been disputed it isn’t clear whether it even can still be revisited as things stand.
It would appear that negotiations need to be restarted with the youngster’s registered agent representing him for anything to get done above board, so there may not be time before the deadline.
But whether it is the asking price at club level or an outlandish payment demand from an agent that has brought things to a halt so far it appears the club aren’t convinced the teenager is worth shelling out extra on.
It certainly seems like he won’t be short of alternative options, whether now or in subsequent windows, so if West Ham want him at all it would seem like now is the ideal time since he is currently set on the move.
But with developments moving on in the hours since the talks fell apart to make a breakthrough for an alternative attacking deal it may be that the window of opportunity for Osman to join fellow Right to Dream academy graduate Mohammed Kudus at the London Stadium has already closed.

The recent developments on that front have been unusual already but with just a few days left in the winter market there may be scope yet for more, and it seems if the player gets his way there will be.
In other West Ham news, a striker target is also waiting in hope of securing a last-gasp move to the London Stadium.
