West Ham United transfer stance shared as Divock Origi jets into London with agent
West Ham sources has clarified the transfer stance on Divock Origi as the former Liverpool striker and current AC Milan man allegedly flew into London, according to Claret and Hugh.
The news outlet claim [29 July] that while the Hammers are still linked to the Belgium international, they’re not the reasons why the duo have flown into the capital.
Sources contacted by C&H claim that the 28-year-old is not a player of interest or even a target this summer.

The report reads, “Origi has been linked with West Ham, but club insiders have dismissed those links saying he is not a target or a player of interest.
“According to West Ham Voice sources, the player flew into London today with his agent, but if that is true, it will not be to meet with West Ham.”
Good news
The Hammers do not need a striker this summer and even if they did, Origi is not the one who’s going to cut the bill for them.
He was at best an impact substitute in the Premier League and may not even have what it takes to lead the line on a permanent basis.
David Moyes requires specific traits from his strikers and needs them to be tall, strong and good at holding up the ball along with being quality finishers.

Gianluca Scamacca looked to be that and may prove his critics wrong next season, but Origi definitely is not that.
Should the Italian leave this summer, then conversations may begin about which striker to bring in but right now the focus seems to lie elsewhere.
It looks like Moyes desperately wants a new centre-back and preferably two new central midfielders as soon as possible along with Carlos Borges.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
