West Ham United transfer news: lost interest in Youssef En-Nesyri, all in on Arnaut Danjuma
West Ham are no longer interested in signing Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri and are now fully focused on Arnaut Danjuma, El Desmarque reports.
ExWHUemployee had reported on the West Ham Way podcast on 20 June that the club had been offered the chance to sign the Moroccan forward for £25million, after previously offering £40million for him last summer.
But that appears to be dead in the water despite David Moyes being a fan as the Hammers are now all-in on another Spanish-based attacker in Dutch international Danjuma.

The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg had reported on Sunday (26 June) that an approach had been made to Villareal for the winger but there was set to be “stiff competition” with some of the biggest clubs in Europe monitoring the situation.
After he scored 17 goals for club and country in his first season after leaving Bournemouth, including reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, it is thought a move to the London Stadium to play in the Europa Conference League could be difficult.
But the Irons appear to be going for broke regardless according to the latest report from Spain.
Go for it
While other clubs may be monitoring the situation, until they put an offer in there is no danger of anything happening, so there is no reason why the Hammers shouldn’t back themselves and back an early play now.
Yes the European competitions are a step down but West Ham put themselves on the European map with their own run to the Europa League semi-finals and the outlook for the future is currently looking pretty positive.
Although the Yellow Submarine’s run is unlikely to be replicated it may not be enough to convince the 25-year-old he should make the switch.

But there is always a small matter of money to consider and the current footballing landscape places Premier League sides at the top of the food chain in terms of what wages they can offer.
Moyes is not one to break the bank for any player but after Danjuma’s breakout campaign in La Liga, coupled with prior experience in England, the manager may have seen enough to make a serious run for a man who has a reported release clause of £38million [Express].
The dropped interest in En-Nesyri is not a huge surprise after his output fell from 18 goals in the Spanish top flight in 2020/21 to just five the following year.
Moyes has eyes on Chelsea’s Armando Broja for the central striking spot, but just behind that he appears to be locked in on Danjuma.
