West Ham reportedly want to receive the transfer fee for Declan Rice in two instalments amid Arsenal’s interest in the England international.
According to the Daily Mail [15 June, Page 70], the Hammers will demand a club-record fee and are aware that he’s the Gunners’ number one target.

Rice may not be the only departure as Gianluca Scamacca has also been linked with the exit door with a return to Italy on the cards.

The Hammers know that the Gunners are desperate for Rice and are willing to shatter their own record in order to sign him.
West Ham fans are aware just how important he is to the side and believe that it justifies whatever the club are asking in exchange for his services.
Rice has been the reason why they finished in Europe in consecutive seasons and his absence is certainly going to cost the team dearly.
That’s why it is important for the Hammers to make the most money possible from the departure of the 24-year-old and use that money wisely.
Signing someone as good is not going to be possible but they can bring in two half decent midfielders that can bring the best out of Lucas Paqueta.
