West Ham United transfer news: Declan Rice appears to make decision amid Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United links

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has reportedly seemed to make his decision amid links to Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.

According to Claret and Hugh [24 June], Manchester City have admitted to the Hammers for the first time that they’re keen on signing the 24-year-old.

However, despite interest from the treble winners it is looking “certain” that he will snub any move to the Etihad Stadium or even Manchester United in order to join Arsenal.

The Daily Mail reported this week that a cash + two players offer will be made for the 24-year-old by the Old Trafford outfit, but they appear to be fighting a losing battle.

Pay the money

If Arsenal are his preferred destination, then they’ve got to stop lowballing West Ham with offers far from their valuation.

It’s understood that the Irons will be looking for an up front offer of £100million before properly entering negotiations and offering counter-proposals.

City and Arsenal both can afford that as they’re signing a generational English talent who’s not even hit his peak thus far.

If he keeps improving in the same manner as he has over the last three years, there’s a very good chance that his valuation doubles by 2025 or 2026.

Given how crazy the market is today, this is a fair price that the Hammers are asking for and it must be met by the interested parties.

The West Ham board will not care where he ends up going as long as they manage to sell to the highest bidder.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers are already preparing to cash in on the Declan Rice money as they hold a transfer meeting in London as they’re confident of sealing a £50million signing.
