West Ham United transfer news as Thilo Kehrer twist shared by Fabrizio Romano
West Ham have reportedly been made aware that defender Thilo Kehrer may leave this summer despite only moving from PSG at the start of the 2022/23 season.
According to Guardian duo Fabrizio Romano and Jacob Steinberg [26 June], the versatile Germany international may have played his last game for the Hammers.
The 26-year-old featured on 27 occasions for David Moyes’ side this past season in the Premier League and quickly became a first-team regular at the London Stadium.

Must keep him
It takes players time to adapt to life in the Premier League and the campaign that just went by was far from the best for the Hammers.
They flirted with relegation right until the final few weeks and had they not won the Conference League, David Moyes may not even have been in charge.
With Declan Rice leaving and Gianluca Scamacca also seemingly heading towards the exit door, the Hammers are already losing two important players.

Losing Kehrer too, will be a massive blow as he could’ve transitioned into a full-time midfielder next season to help fill the void left by Rice.
Unless there’s been some major falling out behind the scenes between the German and Moyes, the Scotsman needs to do everything he can to keep him at the club.
If he’s leaving, they need to ensure that they’re compensated well as he’s nearing his prime and does seem to be getting better as a player.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are already preparing to cash in on the Declan Rice money as they hold a transfer meeting in London as they’re confident of sealing a £50million signing.
