West Ham United transfer news as talks intensify to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri
Talks have intensified between West Ham and Sevilla over the potential transfer of Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, according to El Desmarque.
The Spanish media outlet reported on Tuesday evening (22 August) that the negotiations were taken up a few notches in the past few hours.
The Hammers are keen on signing the 26-year-old striker who represented Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar last year.

Interesting times
The Hammers look to be making progress in order to secure the services of the striker who’s been on their radar for a while.
In the last two summer transfer windows, David Moyes has been linked with the Moroccan and it seems like he’s finally getting closer to securing his services.
Sevilla are in a financial pickle so they’ll be open to cashing in, especially if the striker tells them that he wants to leave.

With Gianluca Scamacca having left and Michail Antonio with one foot out of the door, a quality striker has to be among the priorities in the coming days.
En-Nesyri would fit the bill perfectly for the Hammers as he’s a tall striker who’s good in the air and clinical in front of goal.
He can pose a great set-piece threat as well with James Ward-Prowse, among the league’s dead-ball specialists creating chances on a plate for him.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
