West Ham United transfer news as Fabrizio Romano shares latest on Ajax ace Mohammed Kudus
Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus is the top transfer priority for West Ham this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The journalist told Give Me Sport on Monday (21 August) that the Ghana international is keen on moving to the London Stadium.
Talks are at an advanced stage with the 23-year-old representatives with an agreement on the fee still to be reached between the clubs.

Romano said, “A striker is still something that they are discussing, so we will see which one is going to be the main target.
“But Kudus is now the main name they have on the table. They want that kind of creative player who can help in terms of goals and assists. Kudus would be absolutely perfect.
“The conversation is advanced on the player’s side. West Ham feel that the player is keen on the move.”
Sign him quickly
Kudus can play out wide, as a number 10, in midfield and down the middle as a lone striker.
He’s pretty good in all positions and has the ability to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.
He’s made headlines for scoring goals in the Champions League against the likes of Liverpool and Napoli.

These are top names in Europe’s elite club competition and he’ll undoubtedly be a vital signing for the Hammers.
It won’t be surprising if he leads the line if he joins as there does not seem to be anyone capable at the club to do that regularly.
Michail Antonio has started the season well after his goal against Chelsea but he’s proven in the past that he cannot be relied on over the course of a season.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
