West Ham United transfer news as ExWHUemployee shares Mohammed Kudus and Youssef En-Nesyri updates

West Ham will be making further moves on Wednesday (23 August) for both Mohammed Kudus and Youssef En-Nesyri, according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable Hammers insider reported that with En-Nesyri there is the possibility of going in for a loan deal as well.

However, Sevilla are understood to be cash strapped so it remains to be seen if they will approve of that deal.

Ex wrote on Patreon, “The club are expected to make further moves for Kudus and En-Nesyri today. They want Ajax and Kudus’ agent to commit to an agreed price so we know what we are working with.

“En-Nesyri it is important for the club to establish the price for him, plus whether the player will commit to joining us. Both deals are separate of each other it is thought with the hope of both being completed before the window closes.

“The club seem to prefer a loan move for the forward they go for including En Nesyri there is fear after recent examples that some forwards cannot settle here so they wish to minimise the risk by loaning the player first.

“En Nesyri is an example of this with a loan to buy the preferred deal. Sevilla‘s finances however may not allow this and they may prefer only to sell. Negotiations will continue.”

Makes sense

The Hammers have made mistakes in the past with their signings and have shelled out decent transfer fees on them.

En-Nesyri is unlikely to arrive for cheap so it makes sense to sign him on a loan and see how he fits in the Premier League.

He has been on David Moyes’ radar for a while so the Scotsman will be aware of his strengths and weaknesses but that should be no indicator.

A lot of players move to the Premier League and they look like perfect fits but struggle to fit into the league and deal with the physical nature of it.

On paper, the Moroccan seems to be an ideal fit but it remains to be seen if he moves to the London Stadium.

Kudus is someone who does appear a lot closer but final details are still to be ironed out for him.

In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
