West Ham United transfer news as enquiry made to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani
West Ham United made an enquiry to Eintracht Frankfurt to find out the price tag of striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to 90Min.
According to the online outlet (12 August), the Hammers asked for information on the French international forward to find out the conditions of a potential transfer, but Kolo Muani appears to be closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with a verbal agreement already reached (Sky Germany, 12 August).
The “clinical” striker enjoyed a sensational breakthrough campaign last term registering 26 goal contributions in the German top flight alone, bagging 15 goals and 11 assists.

Wahi more realistic
The Bundesliga striker, who enjoyed a dazzling campaign at Eintracht last term, has been subject to interest from all over Europe and we can now add West Ham United to that growing list of admirers.
While it may seem impossible for the Hammers to afford the £86m-rated this summer, their interest in such a burgeoning world superstar is certainly a sign of their intent.

And their desperation to sign a new striker has been made abundantly clear following the departure of Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio expected to depart.
However, the Hammers are interested in the next best striker to come out of France in Montpellier forward Elye Wahi who also enjoyed a stunning breakthrough season last season, scoring 19 goals in the French top-flight.
David Moyes is believed to be eyeing fresh young talents this summer, but acquiring them won’t be easy, that’s why the East Londoners secured the help of new technical director Tim Steidten and the German could prove a useful tool in securing Wahi’s services.
At just 20, Wahi has already shown that he can excel in one of Europe’s big five leagues, and while the step up to the Premier League is still great, he has all the time in the world to mature as a player and adjust to life in the division.
In other West Ham news, one Premier League club want to hand their new manager with his first transfer as Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio close in on East London exits.
