West Ham United transfer news as Troy Deeney tells Mark Noble to sign George Hall

Troy Deeney has urged Mark Noble to sign Birmingham City midfielder George Hall for West Ham United whilst speaking on The Ben Foster podcast.

The 18-year-old is held in high regard by those who keep a keen eye on the English football league and could be set for a Premier League move soon.

Deeney confessed that Hall is going to be a real “player” and admitted he’s told five or six teams including Noble at West Ham United to sign the starlet.

“We’ve got George Hall, who I think is going to be a player by the way,” said Deeney on Fozcast – The Ben Foster podcast.

“I’ve warned about five or six other teams that I know, like Nobes (Mark Noble) at West Ham, like get this kid now, he’s only 18 but he’s mustard mate.”

One to watch.

Hall is definitely on the one-to-watch list and has burst onto the scene in the last 12 months with some classy performances for Birmingham in the Championship.

At just 18 years old he’s already racked up 20 first-team appearances for the Blues, something he’ll be looking to improve on soon,

He’s definitely not the finished article just yet but with the right guidance and coaching, he has the type of attributes to thrive in the Premier League.

His athleticism and dynamism in the engine room are gold-dust traits in the modern game and are something the Hammers should explore moving forward.

Especially with great professionals like Deeney giving the club the seal of approval, this all but confirms that Hall is a player worth looking out for.

More youthful exuberance is needed within the current Irons setup and the club need to make more Hall-like signings this summer that will progress the squad in future seasons to come.
