West Ham United transfer news as David Moyes stance on Jesse Lingard emerges
David Moyes still wants to see some improvement from Jesse Lingard for West Ham to hand him a full-time contract, according to Claret and Hugh.
The London Stadium news website spoke to a “top contact” at the club who revealed on Friday (8 September) that the club are still undecided over signing the 30-year-old.
The report reads: “We put the question directly to our contact whose simple reply was: ‘Impossible to say. The jury remains very much out on him’.”

Not happening
Fans getting excited by this need to move on as it seems highly unlikely that Lingard will move to the London Stadium.
This time, instead of him not fancying a move to West Ham, Moyes does not appear that keen on bring him to the club.
It appears that the Scotsman is satisfied with the players he’s got at his disposal and does not appear to be keen on bringing in another wide attacker.

Even if Lingard joins, he’ll be a backup option so it may not be the worst idea in the world to have his second coming.
He’s got friends at the club and is a positive dressing-room influence but it remains to be seen if the Scotsman wants him back.
He is the one who has the final say in the matter and as things stand, he does not appear fully sold on the idea of a reunion.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open to leaving his side this summer.
