West Ham United transfer news as club must explore deal for Odilon Kossounou
The Sun reported on 25 February that West Ham United are exploring a £25m summer transfer deal for Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Odilon Kossounou.
The talented centre-back would be the perfect addition to reinvigorate the Hammers defence and the club must look into making this transfer happen.
With the “incredible” Craig Dawson leaving the club in January there is room in the West Ham United defence for a fresh, young and hungry face.
The 22-year-old is the exact kind of player the club needs to be targeting this summer and he has all the attributes to thrive in the Premier League.
Football scout Jacek Kulig described the Ivorian as a “crazy” talent, something which will be music to the ears of the Hammers faithful.

Leicester City were also reported to be keen on the youngster so West Ham United must act quickly if they are to lure the defender from the Bundesliga to England.
