West Ham United transfer development emerges as Aaron Cresswell ‘increasingly likely’ to join Wolves
Aaron Creswell’s proposed move from West Ham to Wolves is looking “increasingly likely,” according to Claret and Hugh.
The publication reported on its website on Friday (21 July) that the East London outfit will get a small fee for the left-back.
The 33-year-old, who joined the Hammers from Ipswich Town in 2014, has made over 300 appearances for the London Stadium club.

“Aaron Creswell’s reported move to Wolves is looking increasingly likely,” according to Claret and Hugh.
“His contract was due to end this summer but the 33-year-old signed a 12-month extension to keep him at the club until June 2024 which has of course allowed the club to get a small fee for him.”

Fond memories
If Cresswell does end up leaving the London Stadium for Wolves this summer, he can look back very fondly on his time in claret and blue.
The defender has become a cult hero for his displays at left-back and indeed in central defence, with the veteran now seemingly surplus to requirements at West Ham amid the emergence of Emerson.
He has been a superb servant in East London since 2014, with his time at the club potentially ending in the perfect way with the clinching of the Europa Conference League trophy last season.
Cresswell also earned international recognition during his time with the Hammers, with the full-back picking up three England caps.
His experience could have been key in helping West Ham manage matches this season, both in the league and in the Europa League, but he perhaps wants a new challenge at this stage of his career.
Moreover, he is perhaps more likely to get more minutes on the pitch at Wolves, which is a much better scenario than spending most of the time watching on from the bench at West Ham.
In other West Ham news, an agent has mooted a Hammers move for one Champions League winner, with a deal there to be done.
