West Ham United to regret sack decision on David Moyes as Christophe Galtier news emerges
West Ham may live to regret not parting ways with David Moyes after the dust settled on their UEFA Conference League victory.
That would’ve been the ideal time to part ways with the Scotsman after two seasons of finishing in European places and finally getting their hands on a trophy.
The way the Premier League campaign panned out, relegation looked like a realistic possibility and had it not been for the strength of the squad, they could have finished in the bottom three.

A European trophy does not mean that the Hammers are progressing and they’re very likely to suffer the same problems next season.
This time, they will not have Declan Rice around to do it and possibly Gianluca Scamacca too, who has been linked with a move back to Italy.
At this point, a change of manager is ideal as he can rebuild the side under his philosophy – ideally distinct to that of Moyes – closer to what the league’s successful teams do.
To do so, they have the ideal option in Christophe Galtier who is expected to be sacked by Paris St Germain.
While they may have won the league this past season by just one point and crashed out of the Champions League in the Round of 16, he’s still a quality manager.

He guided Lille to a famous league title at the behest of PSG and even helped Nice punch above their weight before eventually leaving for the Parc des Princes.
He plays an attacking brand of football, improves players and can speak English as well – so adapting to the Premier League would not have been an issue.
However, 90 Min reported on 15 June that the Hammers have decided to stick with Moyes and have turned down the chance of appoint Galtier.
This seems like a decision they’re going to regret and once they do part ways with Moyes, he may not be available any longer.
