West Ham United to make contact with agent of Nicolo Zaniolo, January exit could be on the cards
West Ham are one of the Premier League clubs showing keen interest in signing Roma attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo who could leave the club in January, as reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
Zaniolo has a contract at the club until 2024, but he is not close to signing a new deal at the club. Pedulla shares that a fee in the region of £22m+ plus £4.3m in add-ons could be enough to secure his signature.
Writing on his website, Pedulla (18 January) adds that Thursday (19 January) could be an “important” day in the transfer dealing for Zaniolo as the player’s agent is likely to make contacts with West Ham.

Great addition
Sky Italia reported on 19 January that Roma have rejected an offer from Tottenham but they are happy to sell the 23-year-old.
However, contrary to the price shared by Pedulla, Sky Italia suggests that it would require a fee of around £35m for his signature.
In fact, the Serie A giants are also prepared to do a loan deal with an obligation to buy, and this should interest the Hammers.
Zaniolo has scored just twice in 19 games in all competitions so far, but he is a supremely talented player.

He would be a fantastic addition to the club, and it remains to be seen if the Hammers are strike a loan-to-buy deal for the Italy international this month.
The Hammers are keen to bolster their forward department this month, and they have already agreed a deal for Aston Villa striker Danny Ings, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
David Moyes is facing an uncertain future at the club, but it seems, the board is still happy to back him in the transfer market.
