West Ham United to look at players on Inter Milan’s transfer list

Inter Milan are looking to sell players in order to maintain their financial stability, and it could be good news for West Ham United.

According to Claret and Hugh, Hammers manager David Moyes, alongside other Premier League bosses, will take a close look at who is available as the Italian giants put some of their players on the market.

West Ham have been linked with Inter striker Martin Satriano this summer, and could soon be handed a huge transfer boost in the coming days.

Time to swoop?

Back in June, the Daily Mail claimed we are one of the clubs monitoring the situation of Satriano, 20.

The Uruguayan striker has impressed for Inter’s youth sides, ending last season with 14 goals and eight assists in 25 games at the Primavera 1 level.

With Moyes struggling to land a striker, swooping for the South American could make sense.

While he is yet to make his first-team debut, Satriano is highly rated and was named on the bench for some games towards the end of last season having impressed erstwhile Inter manager Antonio Conte.

The presence of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku blocked the youngster’s pathway to first-team football at San Siro.

We do not really know exactly why West Ham are yet to sign a striker with the new Premier League season just a week away, but the board is clearly not willing to splash the cash on one.

Satriano would not cost a lot, and Inter could be open to a sale given how bad their finances are.

While he has not proved himself in senior football, snapping up such a talented player in a bargain deal could prove to be a masterstroke if he ends impressing going forward.

Landing a youth team ace for our first-team is a gamble, but at this point, it is better than going all summer without signing a striker, and it could be one worth taking.
