West Ham United to compete with Arsenal and Spurs to sign Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli
West Ham United are one of the three London clubs interested in signing Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to ilbianconero.
The Hammers were extremely active in the transfer market in the summer where they signed eight first-team players.
As per the latest report, the Irons are one of the clubs to watch out for including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur who are interested in signing the Italy international.

The report further stated that the Euro-winning midfielder might be allowed to leave for a fee in the region of £35million.

West Ham have made some incredible purchases in the last few seasons and some of them have been to strengthen the midfield including the likes of Tomas Soucek, Flynn Downes and Lucas Paquetá.
Despite their arrival, one of the biggest concerns for David Moyes remains the future of the star midfielder Declan Rice who is one of the hottest properties in Europe and has been constantly linked with clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool.
Therefore, signing a player like Locatelli who plays in a similar position and is of nearly the same age can solve that problem once and for all.

Even though it can be claimed that he is not as good a player as Rice is but considering what he has shown for Juventus and Italy, there aren’t many better options available to replace the England international, that too for a price of as low as £35 million.
The 24-year-old has represented the Turin-based club in 52 matches across all competitions where he has managed to score three goals and provided five assists [Transfermarkt].
