West Ham United team news v Olympiakos as Injury Expert shares triple update
Three West Ham players could be set for late fitness tests ahead of the game against Olympiakos on Thursday (26 October), according to Ben Dinnery.
Writing on his Premier Injuries website, the injury expert revealed there are question marks around the fitness of Aaron Cresswell, Ben Johnson and Lukasz Fabianski heading into the Europa League fixture.
He said the Polish keeper has been suffering from a knock, with both the fullbacks only just returning to training towards the end of last week, but they have been making “good progress”.

In contention
It seems pretty likely that the trio should be in contention for the game if they can get a few more days of training in and the late fitness tests will just be a precaution due to their recent injuries.
Fabianski should be given the nod in between the sticks provided he comes through this week unscathed after he’s played in each of the cup matches this season.
It will be interesting to see what decision David Moyes makes on Cresswell and Johnson, though, as the pair have dropped down the pecking order and may not be in the starting lineup even if they pass their fitness tests.

It will be a tough game in Greece, so the Hammers boss may opt to play another strong side, similar to the one that beat Freiburg in the competition earlier this month.
It all really depends on how he wants to manage our first-team players’ minutes ahead of the quick turnaround for the game against Everton on Sunday (29 October).
In other West Ham news, a Lucas Paqueta recall update has emerged amid the allegations aimed at him.
