West Ham United target Viktor Gyokeres leaves door open to summer transfer amid Premier League links
Coventry striker Viktor Gyokeres has remained coy over his future when asked about it on international duty amid links to West Ham.
In an interview with Fotbollskanalen, who asked the Sweden international about his links to the Hammers as well as their Premier League rivals Leeds United, the 24-year-old gave a non-committal answer.
Gyokeres has been in red-hot form this season, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists in 38 league games for the Championship outfit.

“These are just rumours. We’ll see what happens in the summer,” he told Fotbollskanalen.
“I try not to get any info about it right now. I want to focus on the matches. So, you have to take it then.
“There is no transfer window now. So, it feels a little unnecessary to put energy on it now.”
Wait and see
Declan Rice is all but certain to leave the club over the summer and his sale is going to bring in a lot of money for the Hammers.
With this money, there’s a very good chance that they rebuild the team and there could be a lot of ins and outs in the coming months.
They’ve also got to decide on the future of David Moyes who seems like he’s out of his depth at the club and has taken the Hammers as far as he could.

It is commendable to finish in the European places for two straight seasons but instead of kicking on this campaign after he signed big names, the side seems to have regressed.
They will get even weaker after Rice leaves so it makes a lot of sense to get in a new manager to kick start that rebuild.
If Gyokeres is the preferred striking option for the new manager then, by all means, West Ham must pursue his services
