West Ham United target Noa Lang begins farewell tour at Club Brugge
West Ham target Noa Lang has reportedly begun his “farewell tour” at Club Brugge and a summer transfer is very much on the cards.
According to Voetbal Nieuws [17 February], Premier League rivals Leeds United, Everton and Bournemouth have also been linked with the 23-year-old Netherlands international.
It’s understood that the Hammers have been keeping tabs on the Dutch attacker for a while and he’s now likely to leave in the summer.

Right fit?
Lang’s playing style is suited for sides that play an attacking brand of football with a high tempo and like to keep the ball for large parts of the game.
Under David Moyes, West Ham have always been a team playing on the transition and have often relied on individual brilliance to bail them out.
There have been times Lang has done well playing in a counter-attacking system, i.e. against PSG in the Champions League last season, but it’s not something he would like doing.

Secondly, it would also depend on his ability to adapt to the physical demands of the Premier League as it’s one of the most if not physically demanding leagues in the world and players who are not able to cope with the physicality have often struggled.
The tactical nuances of the Premier League are different from those of other leagues and the Hammers aren’t one of the top teams so they’re not going to go into every game as favourites.
Overall, Noa Lang has the potential to be a good fit in the Premier League, but signing him would be a gamble, especially under Moyes where talented attackers like Said Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca are struggling.
