West Ham United table financial package for Gabriel, Flamengo respond on same day – report
West Ham United have tabled a bid to sign Flamengo attacker Gabriel Barbosa for 18 months, according to O Dia.
The Brazilian outlet insist on their website that the Irons put together a financial package worth up to £5million for the deal.
It is reported that the offer was rejected on the same day as it was sent by David Moyes, who has already addressed these rumours.

Flamengo’s board appear to have made it very clear that they will not be letting Barbosa, or “Gabigoal” leave for anything this winter.
One member is said to have told O Dia: “It doesn’t make any sense to lend Gabi and that they count 1,000% with the striker.”
Fabrizio Romano vouched for the South American outlet after the piece was published, adding to its validity.

No chance?
Moyes has spoken out since as mentioned, shutting down the possibility of Barbosa or Adama Traore coming to the London Stadium.
Could that have been after the loan proposal was turned down?
Bringing Gabigoal to the Premier League for that cheap on an 18-month deal was always a cheeky offer if that’s true, with no real benefit to Flamengo.
The Brazilian side would be losing their main source of goals for longer than a year, with no real benefits to this supposed financial package.
Moyes does like to keep his cards close to his chest, though, and we could see something progress further down the line if no other deals prove fruitful between now and the end of the window.
