West Ham United table £10.2m bid for Filip Kostic, £2.6m add-ons on top of offer – Di Marzio

West Ham United have fired a new bid worth up to £12.8million to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Filip Kostic, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Sky Sports journalist has reported that the bid is an upfront fee of £10.2million with add-ons included worth up to £2.6million as things stand.

David Moyes has also launched a new monster bid for Sassuolo talisman Gianluca Scamacca as he really looks to put his foot on the gas as the Premier League season approaches.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Di Marzio shared the latest news coming from the London Stadium as they push for new additions to the squad.

“The West Ham offers €36m plus €6 bonus for Scamacca and €12m [£10.2m] plus €3m [£2.6m] bonus for Kostic,” he wrote.

“Continuous contacts with Sassuolo and Eintracht.”

Get it done.

This would be the perfect signing.

Moyes is crying out for a new left-wing-back and it could show us that the plan for next season and beyond is to play that five-at-the-back formation.

Kostic is more attack-minded than defence, so pushing Aaron Cresswell potentially more central in a back three could unleash the Serbian international.

The Europa League winner could need some convincing the join West Ham United it seems, although surely the chance of a move to England is too good to turn down.

ExWHUemployee did share that frustrations were growing this week and this appears to be the retaliation with more names linked and more bids fired to get them across the line.

Hopefully this will be enough and we can really start to put our foot down in the window with Manchester City very quickly approaching in two weeks’ time.

Kostic could be the perfect arrival for that spot, let’s hope so.
