West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus has been spotted at the Champions League clash between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Mikel Arteta's Gunners continued their impressive start to the season with an excellent 2-0 win over Luis Enrique's side on Tuesday (1 October) thanks to first-half goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

While the majority of the focus was on the action on the pitch at the Emirates Stadium, there were several big names in the stands taking in the European action, including Irons ace Kudus.

The Express shared a photo on Wednesday (2 October) showing the Ghana international with two supporters that had been posted to X on Tuesday (1 October) by afcmax.

Why was West Ham star Mohammed Kudus spotted at Arsenal v PSG?

Ultimately, this will have likely been little more than a player taking in a Champions League game that happened to be being played close to home on a night when the Hammers weren't in action.

Of course, there will always be speculation among supporters when something like this happens, particularly given previous speculation linking Kudus with a move across London to the Emirates Stadium.

The former Ajax man's displays in his first season at the London Stadium were understood to have attracted interest from both the Gunners and Liverpool [The Athletic, 19 April] but neither club made their move to sign him this summer.

It is unclear whether or not Arsenal's interest in the Hammers star remains at this stage, but his attendance at Tuesday night's match is likely to spark even more talk about his long-term future at West Ham.

Hopefully, Kudus will be a Hammers player for a while yet. He may not have been at his best so far this term, but he is capable of producing magic that very few players in Julen Lopetegui's side can pull off.
