West Ham United stance on Declan Rice revealed as Manchester City to join Arsenal in race
West Ham are reportedly looking for an auction between Arsenal and Manchester City with both sides keen on signing Declan Rice.
According to the I [17 June], the Hammers are waiting for the Citizens to officially enter the race with the Gunners already opening the bidding.
West Ham believe that after winning the treble, City will have “the biggest transfer budget in English football history.”

Money incoming
West Ham are right in their place to expect the most money they possibly can for arguably their greatest ever academy prospect.
For the first time, they’ve got a player that can strengthen every single team in the world and they’re not willing to let go of him without a fight.
They know that if Arsenal walk away due to their valuation, City can pay up for him and so can Chelsea or Manchester United.

Both teams were England’s top spenders last season and are in dire need of quality midfielders with the 24-year-old being linked with them as well.
While there’s no rush to complete the Rice sale, they’ve already started to plan what they want to do after selling him with a multi-million target eyed in the Championship.
It remains to be seen just how far they can go with Rice and how much they can make from his sale.
