West Ham United source slams ‘rubbish’ David Moyes sack updates
Suggestions that West Ham United are looking to sack David Moyes are “rubbish” despite the Hammers’ recent form, according to Hammers News.
The website shared on Monday (6 November) that a source close to the Irons said that they are keen to continue their recent record of honouring contracts at the London Stadium and are unlikely to move to relieve the Scotsman of his duties in the coming weeks.
Despite the suggestions of a sacking being labelled rubbish, the source has admitted that recent results and performances haven’t been good enough from the Irons, with an admission that West Ham “need to start winning again.”

Moyes’ side has only won once in their last seven matches and haven’t kept a clean sheet all season, the recent record “isn’t good enough” but there doesn’t seem to be any rush from those in charge of the Hammers to make a change of manager.
Still has the backing
West Ham have never been a club that has made unnecessary changes to either their playing or managerial staff and it doesn’t appear as though they are particularly keen to break that streak despite Moyes’ recent struggles in East London.
The Hammers haven’t been good enough in recent weeks and were once again disappointing against Brentford as they blew their lead in the second half. The defensive record and the lack of clean sheets is a worry, especially considering how well Alphonse Areola and Nayef Aguerd started the Premier League season.
There is little doubt that had Moyes started this season in the fashion he has at several clubs in the Premier League, he would have already been relieved of his duties, but it wasn’t too long ago that he was receiving plenty of plaudits for masterminding a perfect start to the campaign.

West Ham have seen their strong and poor runs of form come in streaks this season, rather than being spread evenly throughout the opening months and that has perhaps seen pressure begin to mount sooner than expected on the Scotsman.
Moyes deserves time to turn this around at the London Stadium having led the Hammers to the Europa Conference League title last season, but if performances and results don’t improve in the coming weeks the patience of the board could well be tested and they may not be able to continue to honour their manager’s contract.
In other West Ham news, Moyes was left baffled by one refereeing decision in the Hammers’ Premier League defeat to Brentford
