West Ham United set to revisit transfer for Gianluca Scamacca, £34.1m on table

West Ham United are set to revisit their push for Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca, according to ExWHUemployee on Thursday afternoon [21 July].

The reliable source has reported that the Italian international was left out of a pre-season friendly on Thursday, and frustrations are starting to grow with Chelsea over Armando Broja.

Dharmesh Sheth has backed that up with information that an official £34.1million offer is on the table as positive discussions continue this week.

Updating an official post on the West Ham Way Patreon page, Ex believes that a deal for the Italian could now be pushed based on frustrations with Chelsea.

“It appears we could be about to revisit the Scamacca deal due to increased frustrations with Chelsea,” he wrote.

“There you go or long before a positive and explains his absence from the starting 11 today.”

Get it done.

It is time to push this one forward now, we are fed up of waiting around.

Chelsea clearly don’t want to do business over Broja, and despite the players’ want to move, it looks as though he is more and more likely to stay at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham United have made sure they have other options and they must be praised for that.

Scamacca has more pedigree with his form in Serie A really catching the eye and his jump into the Italian national side a real joy to watch in recent months.

This is really one to watch now and it appears as though Sassuolo have accepted the fact that they will be losing their star man before this window closes.

With Scamacca missing out completely on a friendly earlier today, we may expect movement very soon and as for Broja? Who knows what could happen with that deal.
