West Ham United set for major £10.5million per year windfall amid exits
West Ham will save £10.5million per year thanks to letting four first-team players leave at the end of the season, according to Claret & Hugh.
The Hammers have issued the club’s retained list for the end of the 2021/22 season which sees Andriy Yarmolenko, Ryan Fredericks, David Martin and, of course, Mark Noble leaving the London Stadium.
A tidy £200,000 per week will be saved in wages with Yarmolenko earning £90,000 per week, Noble on £50,000 per week, Fredericks taking home £40,000 and Martin bagging £20,000 for his relatively small role in the squad.

All four players are out of contract on June 30 with the £800,000 monthly windfall expected from July.
With David Moyes desperately aiming to improve his squad in the transfer window, the Scot will use the money to reinvest in the squad.
Boost.
More money ahead of what is set to be a very busy transfer window can only be a good thing surely.
West Ham simply have to make some big moves over the summer having joined the party late in January and failing to get any deals over the line.

Moyes’ squad hung on by the skin of its teeth at times last season as the exertions of fighting on all fronts deep into the season took its toll.
In all honesty, it is surprising the players made it as far as they did and still maintained their high levels.
Of course, it did have some impact but for a player as old [32] as Michail Antonio to play essentially every game without any backup is crazy.
Hopefully, this money is used wisely. It isn’t a massive amount but more exits could soon see that rise.
