West Ham United send scouts to watch Lorient midfielder Enzo Le Fee
West Ham United have sent scouts to watch French midfielder Enzo Le Fee after fine early season form for Ligue 1 side Lorient, according to 90min.
It’s understood a number of clubs are tracking the 22-year-old midfielder with Fulham, Leicester and Newcastle all showing Premier League interest. It’s also believed (90min 3 November) Lazio, Borussia Dortmund and Real Sociedad are also interested in the midfielder.
Lorient are ready to open talks over a new deal for Le Fee but could find it hard to retain his services with his current deal coming to a close in the summer of 2024.

Exciting prospect
The French youth international looks like an exciting prospect having enjoyed a productive start to the season for the Ligue 1 side. He has two goals and two assists so far in the 2022/23 campaign whilst operating in a central midfield role.
David Moyes has been trying to upgrade his midfield options for a while now, with a more forward-thinking player on his radar. Le Fee, Declan Rice, Flynn Downes and Tomas Soucek would provide Moyes with good midfield options moving forward.

There appears to be no let-up when it comes to transfers for Moyes, with the Scot’s busy summer set to continue into the January window. Evidently, the summer was just the start of a larger overhaul of his squad. Gustav Isaksen is another player West Ham have been linked with (Calcio Mercato, 28 October) in recent weeks.
It will not be a surprise to see more names emerge in the coming weeks, with West Ham looking to close the gap on the European places.
